That being said, Greyhounds does can work just fine as your pet even if you live in small spaced area like an apartment or small cottage. Since they do sleep a lot and are instinctively prepared to expend lots of energy at times through the day, you will have to be willing to exercise your Greyhound at regular intervals. It is important to follow a very strict routine if you are going to own a Greyhound. When you take them outside for their exercise and runs, they will be accustomed to go to the bathroom during this outing. They will expect the same outdoor trips each day as well. Greyhounds are ex-racers, so keep in mind that you cannot leave them unsupervised when going outside.
