How To Get Traffic To Your Niche Website

There's a ton of stuff out there about How To Get Traffic To Your ' Niche Website'. But how much of it can you understand, apply easily in your own business and implement at low cost? Too many 'killer' ideas require a heavy investment in time and money to get you going. Not this one!

Traffic is the life breath of every online business - and too many ' Niche Marketers'do not know how to get it!

The one-word answer: "Marketing"

There are far too many methods to go into detail, but here are a few that I have used with great impact - and most are free, or involve a small cost.

* Posting on Discussion ' forums '
* Writing ' Niche 'and submitting them to directories
* Running ezine ad exchanges
* Publishing your own blog with RSS feeds
* Publishing your own ezine
* Doing link exchanges with other targeted websites
* Making comments on other blogs
* Doing ' joint ventures 'with other marketers and webmasters
* Press releases

All of these ' Niche Marketing'methods won't cost you money, though you'll spend time on them.

If you have a marketing budget, you might also consider doing these:

* Pay Per Clicks especially Google Adwords
* Paid links on high traffic sites with high PR
* Ezine advertising
* Banner advertising (pay per click model may be best)

Contact webmasters in your ' niche market ', who are not your direct competitors, but those who offers complimentary product or service and negotiate a deal.

There are some people out there now, who are brokering text links too !

And some other ways....

Offer something valuable or of fun to your target niche market and ask other webmaster in your ' Niche Market'to link to the relevant page. For example you can set up puzzles or quizzes for your niche marketing topics (several such scripts are available from sites like www.hotscripts.com)

Setup separate blogs and write articles relevant to your site theme and link back to your ' Niche Market'site.

You can also publish info in wikies (if you find one relevant to your theme) and link it to your site. If done correctly you can get several link backs in this way.

And finally, one of the best, low cost ways is to run an affiliate program and spend effort recruiting hard working affiliates who will promote your niche market site for you in return for a share of your profits.
